HOW TO BOOK YOUR SESSION

Step One: Send an Inquiry & Chat with Amy

Contact Amy using the form on the "Contact Amy" page link. Provide all relevant details requested along with your contact information.You can also contact Amy via phone at 804-824-1176. It's always best to have a conversation about your specific photography session goals.

Step Two: Select a Flat Rate Photography Package from the "Pricing Packages" Link

Choose one of Amy's flat rate pricing packages: The Ballad, The Limerick, The Ode, The Love Sonnet, or The Epic. Be sure to note how many final fully retouched images are included in your package.

Do you have a unique photography request or a unique session goal? Chat with Amy to discuss your needs. In addition to taking portraits and lifestyle photos, Amy is skilled in product and food photography. She also loves photographing outdoor events. She can design flat rate custom packages to suit your unique needs.

Step Three: Step 3: Pay the Retainer Fee, Sign a Contract, and Secure Your Session Date & Time

Outdoor sessions with Amy are scheduled sunrise to 8:30AM or within two hours of sunset. Pop-up rain showers, storms, and high winds can happen here in coastal SC. Sessions are weather dependent, so it’s best to schedule a “Plan A” session date and a backup “Plan B” session date when you book. If a session is canceled due to weather, every effort will be made to reschedule. A retainer fee and a signed photography contract are required to secure your session date and time:

  • First, pay the retainer fee. On Amy’s “Packages and Pricing” link, you will find a retainer fee associated with each flat rate package. This non-refundable retainer fee will be applied to your remaining session balance.Venmo @Amy-Stevens-112 to pay your retainer fee, or Amy can send you an invoice to be paid via PayPal.
  • Amy will send you a photography contract via email. Read it carefully and understand that you are responsible for abiding by the terms of the contract. This contract can be signed digitally through your email and Amy will receive a confirmation once you’ve signed it.

Step Four: Show Up for Your Session & Pay Your Remaining Balance

Payment in full is due on or before your session date. Your soft proof gallery will be delivered when full payment is received. Preferred methods of payment are Venmo @Amy-Stevens-112 or via PayPal. If requested, I am happy to send you a PayPal invoice. I will also accept a cash payment at your session. Arrive at your session on time and ready to shoot. If you are changing outfits, please note that many outdoor venues do not have restroom facilities or a designated place to change. You may need to change clothes in your vehicle, so be prepared to do so if a change of clothes is needed. Different looks can also be accomplished by varying simple accessories or outerwear.

Step Five: Select the Number of Images Included in Your Photo Package from a Soft Proof Gallery & Purchase Additional Images, if Desired

Within 2 weeks of your session date, you will receive a watermarked and password protected online photo gallery. These photos have been roughly edited, but not yet fully retouched. These images cannot yet be downloaded or shared. They are only to be viewed by you. You will select the number of images included in your photo package from this gallery. If you would like to purchase additional images, above and beyond the number included in your package, these additional images can be purchased and retouched for $50 each. Once you have selected all soft proof images, these images will be fully retouched by Amy, if she deems additional edits are needed. Additional images, if desired, will be purchased at this time.

Note: If additional edits are requested after receiving final retouched images, additional editing time will be billed at a rate of $45 per hour.


Step Six: Final Retouching is Complete and all Purchased Digital Images are Delivered!

Amy will let you know when your final online gallery has been sent and your final retouched digital images are ready to be downloaded and shared. She strives to complete all final edits within 2 weeks of the date you make your selections from the soft proof gallery. Amy will send you a print release. From your password protected online gallery, you can:

Download your purchased digital images to your computer (downloading to an external hard drive or to a storage service like Drop Box is recommended)

Order professional prints, wall art, custom cards and announcements, and additional photo products through your online gallery. The developing lab associated with your gallery is a professional lab and ordered products are shipped to you direct. You are not obligated to purchase through your gallery, but it is recommended. (Note: Some products may need to be cropped sligthly before finalizing your order.) Once your images are delivered, you are responsible for downloading and for storing your images.


Step Seven: Share Your Images, Recommend Amy, & Write a Review

Your images are meant to be shown and to be shared. So, print them up! Hang them on your walls! Send beautiful cards and announcements! Show off those new shots! Your positive reviews and recommendations help Amy keep doing what she loves, so kindly:
